USB Phone ( voipvoice cyberphone k ) is Unknown Device

Hello

I just bought a voipvoice cyberphone k USB phone for use with skype.

The manual says that XP will autodetect the phone as a HID, but I simply
cannot get it to work.

It is always an unknown device.

I have tried different USB ports and also tried a driver install from
voipvoice.com which is supposed to add extra functionality to the device.

I have a Shuttle SN41 with on-board sound and XP sp1. All other devices are
autodetected ok.

Any ideas?

Thanks

John

Did it come with a CD? If so install it from there.

Got to Control Panel in Windows and run "add Hardware" wizard.

Do a Google search for other people having the same problem, usually you're
not the only one with a particular problem I've learned from my past
experiences.

If all that doesn't work, demand a refund. You got gypped.

The CD has a driver for windows 98 only and is an exe only (no inf file). I
have tried it though and it does nothing. All other OSs should autodetect.

The add hardware says that the unknown device is already installed.

Cannot find the problem on google.

Any other ideas?
