I use XPHome/SP2 NTFS and I've got a couple of the above. I notice they
are formatted to FAT. Can they be formatted to NTFS or am I stuck with
FAT?
Thanks.

Further to that, I only get the option for FAT16 & FAT32. How do I get
the NTFS option? Do I need to use convert?

How are you trying to do that ? In Disk Management ?

If so, are you deleting the current partition ?

No.

Nope.
I used convert because I couldn't see an NTFS option. This worked OK on
both drives.

Then try that, after you copy off what is in that obviously.

Looks like you are trying to change the existing partition.

You can certainly create a new one in NTFS if you want to.
