USB not working

hi. Instaled XP with sp1 and now my USB ports won't
recognise any of the things I plug into them. Previously
they did when I had xp home without sp1 so i am guessing
this is the diffeence. Any ideas on how to fix. They
appear fine in the system files? Cheers Gerksnz

Click Start | Run | Devmgmt.msc
Double-Click "Universal Serial Bus Controllers"
Remove (uninstall) all the components within that section.
Restart Windows
