USB not recognized when coming out of standby

Hi, I just purchased a Toshiba Tecra 9000 with XP Pro SP2. When the computer comes out of standby mode, the usb is not recognized.

Toshiba told me that the unit was out of warranty.

You may need to turn on "wake up" from standby ...

From your post i thought that it would be still in warranty as you had just purchased it?
