USB Multi-Port won't connect

I just purchased an ADS USB 2.0 7 Port Hub. I have Windows 5.1 XP, Service
Pack 2. When the computer booted up, it found the new device as a USB
generic hub, but it could not connect the device because it was looking for
files or drivers. There are no drivers or downloads. I tried the same thing
with a different version of Multi-port that would not work on my computer but
did work on a Windows 2000 Operating system. What can I do to connect this?

you might still have to install Win XP CD to install windows drivers.

try new harware wizard and select source disk as win xp cd.

Each port gets listed in Device Manager.
The XP CD should have the files.
