I have two computers and two USB memory sticks.
When I plug in the sticks to the USB socket nothing happens.
The USB sockets are working OK with other appliances.
I must have something wrong
Help?

The USB drives are not shown in My Computer or Windows Explorer? Do they
require some software to be installed for Windows to recognize them? You
should be able to just stick them in a working USB port and be in business.

Software is Not Required
The should simply appear but they do not

If your memory sticks have no defaults (what you can check by using them on
other PCs) maybe your usb ports have problems. Check from the device manager
in your Control Panel

Do the USB drives show up in Disk Management when the sticks are plugged in?
Do they have drive letters assigned? Are the letters assigned unique to
those drives?

Yes
The problem would be understandable if the USB ports were not working
It would also be understandable if the problem related to One Computer or
One Memory Stick but I am using two of each

Dennis, I have the same problem. I just posted actually. So far the only
thing that works for me is to go to computer management --> Disk Management,
right-click the usb drive (hopefully it's listed in disk management) and
choose change drive letter. The drive should show up in explorer then.

I wish it was the same problem.
My Sticks do not show in dsik management
