USB HIGH SPEED

I HAVE A DIGITAL CAMERA CARD READER THAT WILL NOT WORK. THE ERROR MESSAGE SAYS I NEED USB 2.0 HIGH SPEED. IS THIS SOFTWARE OFFERED IF I PURCHASE WINDOWS XP PRO OR DO I NEED TO PURCHASE THE HARDWARE AND INSTALL IT TO MY COMPUTER?
 
USB2.0 is hardware.... you cannot 'upgrade' old USB1.1 ports to be 2.0. You
can get a PCI card with USB2.0 ports and install it.... or if it's a
notebook, a PCMCIA card.

And please turn off your Caps Lock key... it's considered shouting, is
extremely rude and makes the posting difficult to read.
