USB Help

I'm running a DFI 85BL ver. B mobo with new Intel chipset updates, New BIOS,
Running WinXP SP2, have 4 usb in back and 2 up front. I have power to all usb
ports verified by charging an mp4 player in each. My hardware tab shows all
is well, no problems. The hibernation under the power tab has been turned
off. I hhave removed the usbs and hubs and allowed WinXP to reinstall. There
are no sounds associated with plugging in or unplugging. They all use to work
and one day quit working. How about some help? Please.
 
Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware tab>Device Manager.
Now rightclick the USB controllers and check for hardware changes.
