USB HDD format?

Hi there,

Unfortunately I bought a 160GB HDD 3,5" to connect it on to my laptop. Now it turns out, this is not formatted!

Is there a way to format this thing on the USB-Port ?

Hello
Right-click My Computer and select "Manage". Then click on Disk Management.
Right click on the drive you wish to format, and select Format

Keep in mind that you will have to create a partition first. When you
format you format partitions not disk drives.
