USB Flash Drives

Every time I plug my USB Flash drive into a USB port the
whole Windows system freezes up and system has to be re-
booted to recover.

No other USB devices connected at the time.

Unable to check USB Flash card status as systme freezes
with card plugged in.

Any clues gratefully received

Check the flash drive mfg'r web site to see if there are any
driver updates or problems noted. The drive might be
defective, have you tried it on another computer?
