Tom

I just got a Dell Latitude D600 with Windows 2000
Professional and it will not recognize my Apacer Handy
Steno 2 USB 256 Meg flash drive.

The Apacer site says W2000 should automatically recognize
this USB

It works fine on other's systems with win 2000 and works
fine on my home Win 98 machine.

Do you have any other USB device that you can use to ensure that the USB
port is in fact working? W2K should have no problem with USB drives given a
working USB port.
You may even have that USB port disabled in the BIOS. Most BIOSs allow you
to enable or disable the USB port. I would check that first.
