usb drives/memory stick

I got a fujifilm 128mb memory stick and for some reason
haven't been able to see it on my computer, even though
it's plug and play with XP. I have 4 usb ports in the
back, and 2 in front. Wherever I plug it in, My Computer
shows either 4 removable drives or zero, and if it shows
the 4, it says I need to insert a disk. Looking in
Device Manager, it says that one of my USB drives has
been labeled for safe removal, but hasn't been removed.
I have nothing plugged into any of my usb drives! I've
restarted and I get the same error message. AND I still
can't save anything onto the memory stick, regardless of
where I plug it in. What is going on???

Does fuji offer any support? Try them first.

Do you mean the little blue Sony-Memory-Sticks?
And do you have a Pentium IV by any chance?
Then your USB-device for reading/writing the sticks might not be compatible
