USB Drive does not appear in Explorer

Hi

I have an external USB 2 Hard drive.
it works fine on one of my PC's XP Pro but on the other XP Home it does not
appear in Explorer or in My Computer so I cannot access it.

It is seen in Device Manager and it says it is working properly, also the
HDD case light is on.

I have rebooted, several times, uninstalled it in Device Manager and
rebooted, but it did not fix the problem.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

You may need to access the Disk Management option and assign it a drive
letter.
