USB Cordless mouse stops functioning after a while

I've got a problem with a Logitech Cordless MX1000 Laser mouse (
connected to my USB on my laptop ). I've installed Setpoint and
everything works perfect ... but not for long!

Sometimes it just stops functioning and I just don't know why. To solve
that problem I have to put out the USB cable and reconnect it again to
the USB. But it's not normal you have to do that 4, 5, 6 ( it depends )
times in a hour!

In the past I had an older Logitech mouse which worked perfect. I had
to change it because the right button was damaged.

I also tried uninstalling all mouse drivers and reinstalling. I'm now
using the most recent software downloaded from the Logitech website. I
also tried Logitech support, but it's very bad because there are only
discussion forums where nobody answers.

Does anybody know what to do?

Check on the USB ports in Device Manager. There is settings on these for
Power Management. The "default" current setting could be "Let Windows turn
off the power...."

Yes, I already tried it. I also checked the Device Manager for IRQ -
problems, but everything seems normal.
