I have a Lexmark printer attached to usb port. I'm trying to install
a Belkin wireless adapter into the usb also. (There are two slots)
The Belkin adpater will not install as new hardware. I've switched
the plugs in the usb ports and same happens. When I disconnect the
printer the wireless adpater is installed. The drivers from Lexmark
and Belkin are current. I need a solution. Is there such an adapter
that will let me connect the usb printer to a serial or parrallet
port? Thanks for any help.

There are a variety of adapters for USB-Parallel,Serial - but I would
get an inexpensive 4-port USB hub. Connect it to your main PC port.
Then connect the printer to the hub. Use the 2nd mainboard USB to
serve the Wireless adapter. Be sure to purchase a Hub that is powered
( AC to DC ) converter. USB Hubs are limited to a current draw of
500 mA and some un-powered Hubs may have issues if you decide
to add additional USB peripherals in the future.
