I've got the vaio R505EL my USB ports are 1.1 compliant. Is there a way of installing some software to make my ports high a speed usb hub controller?
 
If your motherboard supports 2.0 check manufactures web
site for 2.0 drivers, also make sure you have Microsofts
service package 1 (SP1) download installed. If none of
this works install a USB 2.0 PCI card...Good luck.
