USB Audio Texas PCM2900 recognized as MONO MIC

Hello:
In Win XP, the Texas PCM290x (USB audio codec) was correctly recognized as
sound card, but in Vista it's recognized as USB microphone. So when you try
to record something you get the same audio in both channels (you can unplug
the right channel and will keep recording in stereo with the same signal in
both channels).
There is any workaround or new driver available?

Thanks in advance.

SebasL,

I did a quick google search, but didn't find much, except it appears that
this audio device is still available. I found nothing to suggest that
drivers are available for Vista, but I didn't spend too much time on the
effort. Your best approach is to contact TI to see what the manufacturer has
to say. You can start here:

http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/pcm2903.html

If you can't find what you want, you can buy a Vista compatible sound card
from Creative. They have several.
