USB 6 in 1 Card Reader/Writer

I installed an internal USB 6-in-1 memory card
reader/writer. If I plug it into the motherboard with the
computer on, the plug and play finds it imediately. If I
then restart, it sees the device as an Unknown device. I
have tried reinstalling the drivers, uninstalling the
device....
Its a pain to open the Computer up any time I want to use
the memory card.
Thanks in advance for the Help!!!
 
check device website for latest driver. unknown how long
device sat on the store shelf and included driver might
be out of date.
 
Pardon me... so is it internal or USB?
how do you plug an USB device "into the motherboard" ???
