USB 2.0

Hi, I am having some serious trouble with my USB ports.I have a PQI pen
drive, that worked well on my Windows XP home PC before I installed SP2. Ever
since then whenever I plug it in, the system REBOOTS!!! then with the flash
drive in the usb port, it wont access it, once it has booted up. Is this a
driver issue? power issue??

I really need some help, because I need the flash drive to help me transport
my final year project work at Uni back to my PC at home. Any thoughts would
be greatly appreciated!!!

(I have a an ASUS A78NX-X, XP2600 (Barton), 512Mb RAM (266), GeForce4Ti4600,
1x120Gb & 1x40Gb Seagate Drives & an Antec SmartPower 350Watt PSU.)

I have read in other places (mainly the reviews for the 1GB PQI Pen
drive at www.newegg.com) that the PQI secruity (encrypting) software
that comes with the pen drives causes this problem. Uninstall the
software and try to use your pen drive.

I have not found a fix for this yet other than using another way to
encrypt your files.
