usb 2.0 driver

hi,

i built a new system from scratch. i would like to know
how to find which version of usb driver is installed on
the system. i am using winXP-home withy p4celeron 2.2
processor.

the usb root hub indicates: c:\windows\system32
\drivers\usbd.sys
File version: 5.1.2600.0)client 010817-1148)

is this the version 2.0 usb driver. allthe usb ports work
ok

In Device Manager under Universal Serial Buss controllers there should be an
entry like in my case "VIA USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller". This is for a
VIA chipset. Other chipsets will have different entries.

You also must have SP1 installed for WinXP. USB 2.0 drivers are not
included in the original WinXP release.
