Hi Everyone
I recently purchased a USB HUB. On the box it does say that it is a hi-
speed and has a USB Hi-speed (2.0) certified logo on it. However, when
I plug it into my USB, it gives me the "this device can perform faster
if you use a hi-speed 2.0 etc etc." Note that this is when I plug the
hub into the computer and laptop. When I further insert a thumb drive,
once again it gives me the same message. My thumb drive is a usb 2.0
product.
I'm confused because I know that both my computer and laptop runs on
usb 2.0 and the error message never comes up when I use my usb 2.0
products.
However 1) If the error message occurs when i insert the hub, that
would suggest that my computer & laptop only runs on usb 1.0:
completely untrue!
2) If it is a usb 2.0 hub... then why would the error message occur
when i plug in my usb 2.0 thumb drive?
I have a feeling that the box is lying/misleading me. However is there
a way to verify my claims?
Thank you.
