USA State Maps

I am attempting to put together a powepoint presentation for work that will
show the 12 states where we have stores. I will want a slide with all 12
states together and have the ability to add some text. I will then plan to
have an individual slide for each state and on the state identify each store
and also have the ability to add text to the slide. I am pretty basic in my
abilities with powerpoint.

My question is can anyone give me advice as to a sources for the maps I will
need. I am lookind for maps that would have the largere cities and major
roads and waterways. Something fairly simple and straight forward to use.

Sorry to state the obvious, but have you tried both Google images or Yahoo
images?

When you have the maps - try this cool effect.
Start (or end) with one whole country map and have the states you have a
presence in "fly in" slowly, each from the closest edge of the slide, all at
one time. It looks very cool! Like everything is comming togther - quite
symbolic.
