Help--all of a sudden IE does not automatically put in " http:// " in front
of my www.anysite.com in the address block???? How can I fix the problem--it
is a real pain to have to type http:// in front of all web site addresses.

You don't need to put the http:\\. If you put www.anysite.com it will take
you there. And, in fact, you don't even need the www or the .com all you
need to do is put in anysite and then hit ctrl+enter. IE will then put the
http, the www, and the .com. I haven't typed in a full address in years.
