I get an error when I try to update my Internet Explorer
6 Service pack..it says Windows Update Setup: ie6wzd.exe
The procedure entry point CoInternetGetSession could not
locate the dynamic link library urlmon.dll .. what does
this mean?

Click START|RUN Type... regsvr32 Urlmon.dll

If that doesn't work then do a
sfc /scannow
to replace the dll

to do a scannow put your XP cd in the drive and bring up
your run command and type in sfc /scannow
yes there is a space between the c and the forward slash

Urlmon.dll has to do with hyperlinks, have you noticed a
problem with these?

I dont have a cd for xp it came with my HP when I bought

it ..so how do I reinstall the Urlmon.dll?

Check to see if they left and i386 directory on your hard disk,
or in the recovery CD

I also have an HP all you need to do is skip the step of
inserting the CD,scannow will still work just fine.
