URL Problems

I'm running the latest version of outlook 2003 SP2 on Windows XP SP2.
When I receive a e-mail with an embedded URL link. I click on the link
and it launches an install shield for Creative Technology the Sound
blaster product. Any clues to why its not launching Internet Explorer?
