This is regards to a problem I found on my workstation
running Windows XP Professional Edition. The problem is
that I can't boot up the computer due to a corrupt Windows
file.
When I came to reboot the computer it wanted to do a disk
check and know when I boot and re-boot the machine I get
the following message on a blue background and it won't
let me go any further;
STOP: c0000221 {Bad image checksum}
The image url.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum
does not match the computed checksum.
Suggestions on the internet say to replace the dll file
with a new one and place in the windows\system32
directory. But I'm unable to find a url.dll file that is
more recent that the current one placed on the system.
I would be very gratefull if anyone could tell me how to
correct this problem.
