Urgent Windows Corrupt

Please can someone help me urgently. When i started the computer this morning
it said that a file was corrupt and had to run consistency file, it did that
but ended up saying an error has occurred. Now i finally get into the
computer and at the bottom of the taskbar it comes up with a balloon saying
C:\$corrupt, it may say, windows, safari or something else.

Please can some one tell me what this means and what i can do about it. It
all started when i tried to install the newest version of Itunes.

I can understand what you are saying, but it is happening with everything,
each time i start my computer it comes up with a blue screen, and says
checking for inconsistences and then says there is an error. Everything is so
slow, and does not seem to be working right. It says it is c:\$secure is
corrupt

It sounds like you might want an Apple customer support forum. For sure,
your question seems off-topic here, a newsgroup specifically for questions
related to writing .NET Framework programs.
