Urgent!!!? Mmh. What is the great urgency about this request?
- Launch WinXP
- Find out where Win98 is installed. It could be in
c:\Windows, d:\Windows or whereever you placed it.
- Rename the Win98 system folder to Win98.delete
- Open the Control Panel
- Click System / Advanced / Startup / Edit
- Remove the Win98 reference
- Wait a week. If all is well, delete Win98.delete.
Without know ing the specifics (partitions, which OS is where, file
systems, etc) of how you've configured your system for dual-booting, no
one can accurately answer your question.
