Acer Aspire One

Hi - I have recently purchased an Aspire One that came preloaded with the
Linpus Linux O/S. Whilst the O/S is simplicity itself, I would like to
install Windows XP Home as I feel comfortable with MS Windows.

So therefore, how do I remove the Linux O/S and install Windows XP Home ?
Or alternatively install Windows XP so that my Aspire One is 'dual boot'

I do have a CD-ROM player and a genuine copy of Windows XP Home.

Can anyone out there help ??

Basically all you need to to is be sure the bios is set to boot from
cdrom...

boot up with the Cd and follow the prompts for installing Windows.

You will need to delete *all* partitions.

The only problem you might have is that the Windows installed may not be
able to re-write the MBR

you might have to boot to the repair console and issue the command fixmbr
after the initial phase of installation

if at first reboot you get a lilo or grub error
