I am having problems with software all of a sudden.

When I use IE, Mozilla, Yahoo Messenger etc....my screen FREEZES and

I have to wait till it unfreezes itself or kill everything and start
again.

I used Mcafee virus scan, did a Defrag - but stll have these problems.

Can anyone pls help.

See the answer to your first post which is apparently under someone
else's name - kimshapiro100. Please don't make a new post on the same
subject only a few minutes apart. Wait at least 24 hours before making
a new thread. Be patient. People who may help you live all over the
world.

go to Start / Run type MRT and run that program.

First I would you if you can to go to the two web sites and download the two
programs. Then install them and run them to clean out your system.

Then do the start and run one. It could be that you may have some bugs in
your system. I'm not sure that is the problem but at least you will know
your system
is some what clean.

Then go to Start Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Event Viewer

double Click on Application and look for the red circle w/white x read
what it is you can double click on it also. check the Warning ones also.
these might give you a hint as to is causeing to computer to freeze.

After that do the same to the System one and see what is in there.

I hope this may help you find what causeing the freeze up.
