Urgent: Need to rename Robert account to Administrator

You can't use the same name on two accounts... the built-in
default-Administrator account is created when you install the system. If you
want to use it, just log off or restart and at the logon screen, hit
ctrl+alt+delete simultaneously two or three times to bring up the logon box,
then type in Administrator and since you don't remember the Administrator
account, it probably doesn't have a password, so just Accept or hit Enter
afer typing Administrator.

I just reinstalled XP. During the installation I used "Robert" as my
account name, but I should've used "Administrator" (for other reasons). I
can't seem to rename my "Robert" account to "Administrator" because it's
already "in use". Any idea how I can do this????

During the reinstall of XP you could not have created an account named
"Administrator" as Windows by default creates an account with this name
during the install.

It is generally good practice not to use the account named "Administrator",
as may become your lifeline if something should go wrong with Windows.

A good policy is to use the username "user" -this makes dialogs such as "Log
off user" read sensibly, which they don't if you use "default", "owner" or
the like.

You can't.

Any account may have "administrator" privileges, but only one account may be
named "Bruce" (or any other name).
