URGENT How use a weighing machine

Hello,

Please need to link my Access DB to a weighing machine.

How can I do that?

I need the weigh automaticaly pass from the machine a form in my database.
The machine is linked in com1.

I don't think you are going to have any luck with this. I don't believe any
weighing machine has the capability to send data to a database unless the
machine was specifically designed to export data.

The machine don't have to send data to database. I have to write code to
read the data in COM1.

Hi Jose,

As I understand it, the manufacturers of machines like this normally
supply and/or advise on software. Have you investigated their website?
One would hope to find an ActiveX control.
