Urgent Help!

Hi everyone

I've been using Win-XP Prof. for long time but recently
I've got a problem.

1- I cannot install any software, I receive an error about
installation failed! ... I cannot even install a simple
webcam for example.

2- On the files or folders properties I cannot see the
security tab. Whats wrong?

Please someone help me ... Thx
 
For #2 -- in explorer: tools, folder options, view tab, uncheck: use simple
file sharing.
