Hello,
I've set a password on my home pc to access my emails in
Outlook - however as i recently changed my identity
password i can't remember what i changed it to! I
therefore can only access any new emails via the internet
as opposed to via Outlook.

I urgently need to access my old emails and need to know
how to override the password set - would greatly
appreciate any help with this.

Look forward to hearing from anyone!

Outlook or Outlook Express? Outlook Express uses Identities so I will
presume that you are using OE.

This is the wrong group for OE support as this group supports Outlook from
Microsoft Office suite of business productivity programs. For Outlook
Express groups, look under Internet Explorer if you ar using the Web
interface.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Ash asked:

Hi Ash,

No problem - I came accross the same thing recently.

There is a way to find a lost of forgotten password for an Identity in
MS Outlook Express.

I used a solution on this web site:

http://www.intertek.org.uk/services/

If you search the web you might find one that's free.

Please do not attempt to remove any password unless you are authorized
to do so.

Regards,

Mark.
