urgent- conditional formatting

i want to color/shade row a2:c2, a30:c30 and every 28 rows after a30:c30 in
green. i think i have to use the conditional formatting but what should i
type in so I dont have to highlight thousands of rows manually.

Try this...

Select the *entire* range of cells in question. Let's assume this range is
A2:C200.
Goto the menu Format>Conditional Formatting
Select the Formula Is option
Enter this formula in the box on the right:
=MOD(ROW(),28)=2
Click the Format button
Select the desired style(s)
OK out
