URGENT ! BIOs Disabled after Installing Critical Patches

I have just installed some critical security patches for
win2k. After restarting the system, BIOs was disabled and
left with a blue screen. CPU virtually at a standstill.
Any suggestions please.

You are suggesting that the Windows Updates somehow disabled your HARDWARE
(ROM) BIOS?

If you are unable to enter the bios this suggests a hardware fault, critcal
updates do not affect your bios.
