upsizing wizard error

i'm interested in pushing my a2k development skillsets' envelope and
monkeying around with the upsizing to SQL Server wizard. whichever option
(existing/new) i choose i encountered two messages:

1- failed to load resource DLL: odbcint.dll

2- ODBC -- could not find DLL 'odbc32.dll'

i thought i would post my question to the 'Access General Questions' group
failing to find another reference more relevant.

hopefully, if this is not the proper one, someone might be ablel to offer up
a suggestion.

Hi, Ted.
i encountered two messages:

1- failed to load resource DLL: odbcint.dll

2- ODBC -- could not find DLL 'odbc32.dll'

This can happen whenever the ODBC components have been removed from the
computer or the Windows Registry entries have been removed or altered. The
ODBC Registry entries are often removed when removing Corel software
applications or when using the Cleansweep Orphan Finder.

You may re-install/reregister these components and drivers by installing the
following free downloads from Microsoft:

Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.5 Service Pack 3 (This release
includes Microsoft Jet 4.0, the Microsoft Jet OLE DB Provider or ODBC
driver, the Desktop Database ODBC Drivers, or the Visual FoxPro ODBC
Driver.)

Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 SP-1 (This release does not
include
Microsoft Jet 4.0, the Microsoft Jet OLE DB Provider or ODBC driver, the
Desktop Database ODBC Drivers, or the Visual FoxPro ODBC Driver.)

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...95-efc2-4f8e-a9e0-3a1afbd5922e&DisplayLang=en
hopefully, if this is not the proper one, someone might be ablel to offer up
a suggestion.

The Microsoft.Access.Externaldata newsgroup would probably be more
appropriate for this question, but folks who answer questions there often
check this newsgroup, too, so no harm done.

HTH.
