Uploading Server 2000 SP4 image to RIS (W2KSP4)

Using Windows 2000 Server Service Pack 4, and trying to
upload a Windows 2000 Server SP4 image using riprep.exe
gives me a message "This utility can only be run on
Windows 2000 Professional systems" The article #308508
indicates a slightly different message (The version of the
product only supports Windows 2000 Professional) and
suggests to apply a patch that will only run on SP2. The
article also gives me the impression that it should work
since SP3, yet the system will not let me save the image.
What am I missing? Thank you for your time and help!

Is your CD-Based image SP4? You need to keep the CD-based image the same SP
as the desired RIPREP'd image.

Check the version numbers of the RIPPREP tool by reading that section from
