Upgradinig from Win98 to XP

I just got a copy of Windows XP Pro and noticed it's for upgrading win 95 or
earlier versions. I have Win98 second edition. Before I open the box... is
it going to work? Or do I need a specific win 98 upgrade?

According to their page, you can NOT upgrade to Windows XP Pro from
Windows 95. You cannot *upgrade* to the Pro version using any version
of DOS-based edition of Windows *earlier* than Windows 98. So you do
NOT have the Professional version of Windows XP (or you accidentally
omitted a "not" in your first sentence, as in "... it's NOT for
upgrading Windows 95"), or you have something other than a legitimate
copy.
