Upgrading XP Media Center Edition for Multilingual User Interface

Guest

I have recently purchased a Windows XP Media Center Edition (English
version), but one of the users of the computer is Spanish-speaking, so I
would like to install the Multilingual User Interface so that I can set all
the Windows menus and interface to Spanish for this user. What system
upgrades and components will I need, and how do I obtain them? Any help here
would be appreciated!

Switching the user interface language is only supported through the
Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI). The MUI is available for
corporate customers only through volume licensing contracts; it's not
available in a consumer retail package.

Hi

I have an MSDN subscription from where I got my legal MCE2005 and
product key. Can I get the spanish MUI from somewhere?

The Multilingual User Interface Pack is not supported
with MCE2005....only Windows XP Professional.

Okay.

So, if I have a MCE2005 in English and I want to translate it _legally_
to spanish, what should I do?

Out there there is a package that makes the translation, but I don't
know where it comes from. I think there must be a legall way for making
the translation.

MCE2005 is written in specific language versions, therefore one
cannot change the original language version to another. You'll need
to purchase MCE2005 in the language version you desire, reformat
your drive and install it "clean".

Well, I'll have to wait then. Thanks!

Ok since I am not a large corporation with a large volume license contract I
have no hope of being able to change the operating system language for
different users. How about just Microsoft Office? (I own Office XP
professional) Do I have to be a large corporation to convert THAT to Spanish?
