Default Language

I live in Spain and a number of people I know have purchased PC locally
which,
unsurprisingly have been configured for the Spanish language.(XP Home
Installs in the most part)

As they do not have the Multilingual User Interface I wonder if
anyone out there knows how to change the default language from Spanish to
English that doesn't mean formatting the drive and starting from scratch?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Windows XP is written in specific language versions, therefore one
cannot change it from one language version to another. You'll need
to purchase a "Full Version" of Windows XP in the language version
you desire, reformat your drive and install it "clean".

Or if you have an available empty drive or partition, you can install
another "Full Version" of Windows XP in a different language version
and create a dual-boot configuration.

A good third-party partitioning program is Partition Magic 8.
