Upgrading Xp MCE to Vista Home Permium

I have tried to update my XP MCE (2005 version) to Vista Premium, but when I
got as far as Expanding Files, it had to reboot. Then a blue screen came up
with a Stop message 7B. I have tried to go to a site listing stop messages
(given to me by Denny) but when I click on &B it gives a long list of
possible causes, and I don'y know which one applies (none seem to be exactly
what I want). Also the solution given seems VERY complicated and difficult
to do! Can anyone give me any further advice? Is there a simpler way to
correct this please?

Thanks for info. In the end I decided to get PC World do the reinstall, but
they too failed. My laptop is a recent Toshiba Qosmio G30 Windows Vista
capable one, but wouldn't install Vista Premium, despite Vista advisor saying
it would! PC World attempted 3 times to do a reinstall (incuding a clean
install) but no success. Error SESSION3_INITIALIZATION_FAILED. Enentually
remastered the unit to xp. VERY disappointed. Who do I go to now for help
please or compensation?

Hi Martin,
I think you should seek compensation from the vendor who sold you the Laptop
for you or the Vista version, contact them and ask for refund.
