?Upgrading XP from ME?

I have Windows ME (french) currently running. I bought XP
(english) and need to know if I can just run the upgrade
or do I have to find ME in english version?

One cannot "upgrade" from one language version of Windows to
another language version. You'll need to purchase a "full version"
of Windows XP English and then perform a "clean install".

I *think* you will be able to run the upgrade from the installed ME> I
am pretty certain that at worst you would be able to do a clean install,
showing it the Retail ME CD as evidence
