Hi there. I got the following problem on my Terminal
Server Upgrading it to W2K SP4 :

Windows cannot do loopback processing when the computer
is
joined to a downlevel domain or is a member of a
workgroup. Loopback processing will be disabled.

Additionally the logonscripts on TS became local and are
not anymore mandatory, so that the Remote LAN Users have
no more LOGONSCRIPT ... and so, no more User Drives.

Actually i coul'd not find further information.
..

Someone can help ?

We get this same error on all W2K servers we upgraded to SP4, not just the
TS servers. Please let me know if you get a solution.

Thanks,

Keith

I got the same message and problem when I upgraded a W2K pc tp SP4. On
that pc no users were able to logon anymore. No logonscript was
executed.
If you have chosen archive files when doing the SP4 upgrade, you
should be able to undo the upgrade installation and restore to the
previous version. In Add/Remove Programs you'll find the Windows 2000
Service Pack 4 uninstall program. If you choose to uninstall it there
you should be fine.
