SP4 and Log On Scripts

BiggyMeows

I have several known machines that will not run log on scripts since
"Upgrading" to SP4 for Win2K. Event ID in application log is as
follows:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1000
Date: 7/7/2003
Time: 1:20:41 PM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: COMPUTERNAME
Description:
Windows cannot do loopback processing when the computer is joined to a
downlevel domain or is a member of a workgroup. Loopback processing
will be disabled.

Users are still able to access network resources and map drives but
log on scripts do not run. I'm not sure why this would be loopback
processing, but can ping the loopback so it's not an adapter issue.
I'm open to any suggestions.

Thanks,
Amy
