Upgrading TS from 2000 to 2003

I have a citrix farm set up currently with three servers running windows
2000. Users are complaining of slow response time for applications and we
are currently testing an additional server. However the new server is 2003.
This may sound like a dumb question but do we need to purchase additional
2003 TS licenses for that server? Alot of our users are using XP as the
desktop and I don't see any additional temprary licenses being issued on the
TS liscense server.

Yes, you must have a 2003 server CAL and 2003 TS CAL for every
client or user who connects to the 2003 TS. You also need a 2003
Licesning Server, since a W2K Licensing Server cannot handle 2003
TS CALs.

Your clients are currently connecting to the 2003 TS because it is
in its grace period. When that ends (after 120 days), they will not
be able to connect anymore.
