Reached Logon Limit prior to Grace Period

We recently upgraded our Citrix Server to Metaframe Presentation Server and
Windows 2003 with TS. We did not purchase the TS licensing right away
because we assumed we would have a 120 day grace period. Citrix users were
able to logon to our network using the Citrix ICA client during the first 2
days after the upgrade. Now, users get a message saying, "the system has
reached its licensed logon limit." Sometimes, users who are in the Domain
Admins group can log on, but usually, even administrators can't log on. We
purchased the TS licenses on Thursday, but the e-mail with the licensing info
hasn't arrived yet. Our offsite users aren't able to log on to our network
at all. Does anybody have any ideas as to why this might be happening. We
upgraded our Citrix Server on March 4 so we should not even be receiving this
message yet.

Check your EventLogs. This warning has indicates a shortage of
normal server CALs, not Terminal Server CALs.

The error message in the EventLog says, "The sytem has reached it's license
login limit." We purchased 30 user licenses when we purchased Windows 2003
Server so we should have plenty of regular licenses. We only have 5 users
accessing the Citrix Server currently.

I'm sure that you have plenty of licenses, but does the server know
that?
What licensing mode did you configure for your server? Check in
Control Panel - Licensing.
Either choose "Per Server" and enter your 30 licenses, or check Per
User or Per Device.
