Upgrading to XP Home

First, you must run the Windows XP Upgrade Advisor and see if your
hardware meets the minimum requirements to install and run Windows XP.
Second, one cannot upgrade over Windows 95.....a "clean install" is required.

The Upgrade Advisor is a tool you can download and install
to check if your system hardware and software are ready for
upgrading to Windows XP.

They also need to purchase the "Full" Retail or OEM version since you do not
qualify for the upgrade pricing.
