Upgrading to SP2

Hi ,

When trying to upgrade to win XP SP2 I'm getting the following error message:
"Could not retrive the value of the com spec environment variable. Install
can not continue"

any ideas ?

Googling that error message turned up nothing.

How are you upgrading to SP2 - from a CD or a download?
