Upgrading to SP2 from SP1

I have Windows XP with SP1 installed on my machine but now I can't install
sp2 on my machine.I got sp2 on a cd but when i try to install it just
abruptly stops.

Some log files you can check for any clues or error messages:

%windir%\Svcpack.log
%windir%\setupapi.log

(%windir% is typically C:\Windows)


You might need to enable verbose logging to find the reason in one
of those log file, see here for how to enable it:
